Business before pleasure. School is for learning, not playing. Why not? What if you could learn by playing? "Classcraft" brings that very gamification approach to the classroom. In this session, we'll show you how you can use the "Classcraft" tool to create a great, exciting fantasy adventure: Students become role-playing characters with their own abilities, the curriculum becomes an adventure quest map with its own story, with tasks, mini-bosses and bosses, but also new companions are waiting to be discovered.
The following points are covered:
  • General introduction to the tool: The Rulebook
  • Expansion of the tool with world-building, storytelling and an item shop
  • Tips for beginners, advanced and professionals
  • Effects on teaching and students
