Digital memory culture is absolutely necessary in times when fascists publicly demand a turnaround in the way history is viewed. The Digital Game Culture Foundation (Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur) has organized a three-day interdisciplinary pitch jam on this topic. The session first addresses the general question of how games can be used in a museum context, how they can replace missing or "dying out" contemporary witnesses and how they can involve visitors. It will then show what role games should play in the specific case of the Anne Frank Information Centre. In addition, the social relevance of remembrance culture is discussed, regardless of a concrete project reference or historical period.
