In cooperation with the non-profit alliance "Deutschland sicher im Netz", the BMVI is publishing an augmented reality game on the topics of future mobility and data protection/security. The game "Felicitas Fogg - around the world in 80 maps" is a digital car chase, half AR game, half card game. The year is 2025, and Felicitas Fogg, the wealthy and somewhat eccentric heiress of the famous globetrotter Phileas Fogg, has made a momentous bet with the hacker collective F1X. She claimed to be able to travel around the world without the hackers being able to track her down. Only she did not manage to do this alone, but with the help of a team of players. Their goal: to bring Felicitas around the world in an energy-saving way and without leaving behind much data before the hackers get hold of her and her assets. There are various local scenarios in which the players have to choose the best means of transport to get Felicitas Fogg to her destination as quickly and unnoticed as possible. There are over 20 different means of transport to choose from, including (e-)cars, bicycles, e-scooters and air taxis.
